Faculty Member, Institute of Archaeology and Antiquity
About
I am a Quaternary scientist who works at the interface of archaeology and geology. I'm particularly interested in Quaternary landscape evolution, natural environmental change, human occupation and its associated impact on landscapes. I've worked extensively on Pleistocene and Holocene geoarchaeological records in the UK and northern Europe, as well as the Mediterranean region including north Africa.
More recently, my research interests have also focused on the effects of future climate change on the wider Heritage record.
