About
My chief research interests are in the understanding and representation of the emotions in sixteenth- and seventeenth-century England, particularly in dramatic literature, poetry, and life writings. I was previously associated with the Wellcome Centre for the History of Medicine at UCL, where I held the Roy Porter Memorial Studentship.
