Dan PhD officially over and done with, graduation in December when I can finally call myself Doc Kirby... now have a permanent post at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham as a radiotherapy physicist.

Academic life:
My work is part of the "Laser Induced Beams of Radiation and their Applications" (LIBRA - http://www.qub.ac.uk/sites/LIBRA/) consortium, and our group at Birmingham form the dosimetry work package of this project.
General interests:
I'm into sport (esp. football) and am an indie/rock music lover. In my spare time I run an unofficial Tottenham Hotspur t-shirt website called "Tottenham Tees" where I sell my tshirt designs to other Spurs fans and write my blog. If you're a Tottenham fan, take a look!
